Job Description

Are you an experienced Sitework Estimator/Project Manager ready to take the reins and build something big? We're looking for someone with the drive to take ownership of a growing division. This is a rare opportunity for a hands-on builder with a sharp estimating mind and strong project leadership skills to make their mark and earn big while doing it.

What You’ll Do:

• Estimate and bid sitework projects including grading, excavation, utilities, paving, and stormwater systems.
• Develop detailed scopes of work , quantities, and cost breakdowns using takeoffs, drawings, and specifications.
• Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotes to ensure competitive pricing and accurate bids.
• Create and manage project budgets and schedules to keep jobs on track and profitable.
• Lead preconstruction meetings and coordinate with field staff and subs to ensure clarity and alignment.
• Serve as the primary point of contact between clients, engineers, vendors, and subcontractors throughout the project lifecycle.
• Manage RFIs, change orders, and subcontract agreements with full understanding of contract terms and cost impact.
• Conduct site visits to monitor progress, verify work completed, and resolve field issues proactively.
• Mentor and develop junior staff or field crews as the division grows.
• Track project performance and financials and prepare reports for leadership and ownership.
• Help drive division growth by identifying new business opportunities and operational improvements.

What You Bring:

• 5+ years of estimating experience , with at least 10 years in a combined Estimator/Project Manager role.
• Strong background in sitework/civil construction — must-have.
• Self-starter attitude with the drive to own and grow the division.
• Excellent communication, organization, and leadership skills.
