Job Title: Recruiting Coordinator (Contract)

Location: Austin, TX (Hybrid – in office Tuesdays & Wednesdays)

Pay: Up to $28/hour

Type: Contract (3+ months)

Job Description:

The Recruiting Coordinator will be responsible for providing administrative and logistical support throughout the hiring lifecycle. You’ll collaborate closely with recruiters, hiring managers, and candidates to ensure a seamless and positive experience, while maintaining structure and efficiency across recruiting efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and schedule interviews across various time zones and departments
  • Communicate with candidates and hiring managers to confirm interview details and logistics
  • Maintain accurate data within the applicant tracking system (experience with Greenhouse is a plus)
  • Help manage the flow of candidates through the recruiting process
  • Assist with drafting offer letters and initiating background checks as needed
  • Support employer branding and recruitment events as applicable
  • Collaborate on recruiting-related projects and process improvements

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in a recruiting coordination or talent acquisition support role
  • Experience working in fast-paced industries such as tech, fintech, or startups preferred
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Comfortable using applicant tracking systems (Greenhouse experience is a bonus)
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to shifting deadlines
  • Professional, reliable, and committed to providing a top-notch candidate experience

Additional Details:

  • Work Schedule: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, hybrid (Tues/Weds in office)
  • Contract Length: 3 months minimum, with potential to extend
