About Us:

Mazeplay specializes in creating unique agricultural experiences across the country—from intricate corn mazes to vibrant sunflower fields and stunning tulip displays. Our team travels in class 8 motorhomes, working from farm to farm. Along the way, we make lasting memories while helping our customers build thriving Agritourism businesses . We been doing this for over 25 years. This is a stable and growing business, and we’re looking for someone eager to be a part of it.

What You’ll Do:

• Travel Across the U.S.: Spend part your summers and fall visiting exciting new places. Planting corn mazes, flower fields, and more. This is not an ordinary desk job—it's hands-on, with plenty of variety and new places to see. perfect for someone who loves variety and adventure!
• Operate Farm Equipment: You’ll use specialized machinery to create living works of art—corn mazes, sunflower fields, and tulip displays. You’ll need excellent equipment-operating skills to get the job done right.
• Maintenance & Mechanic Work: You’ll need strong mechanical skills to ensure our equipment is running smoothly. You’ll troubleshoot problems, perform repairs on the go and find solutions to keep things running smoothly.
• Project Management & Innovation: Help create, plan, and manage each project from start to finish. This role requires creative thinking, innovation, and a passion for helping customers grow their businesses.
• Sales & Relationship Building: Consult with customers to design their mazes, organize festivals, and offer other agritourism services. The best part? Many of our customers become friends, and your relationships with them will drive the growth of the business.

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience in Agriculture: Someone with a strong understanding of farming, crop operations, machinery, and equipment maintenance.
• Mechanical & Equipment Skills: Someone who can troubleshoot, repair, and operate farm equipment with ease, keeping everything in top condition.
• Entrepreneurial Spirit: Someone who will thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment, that is comfortable managing your own projects, thinking outside the box, and finding creative solutions to challenges.
• Strong Communication Skills: Someone comfortable consulting with customers, building long-term relationships, and identifying new opportunities for business growth.
• Class A CDL (or willingness to get one): Someone with experience operating a Class 8 truck and trailer.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Ag Business, Agronomy, Ag Systems, Business Management, or a related field, or at least 5 years of management experience.
• 2+ years of skilled machinery operation with mechanical repair and maintenance experience.
• Background in agriculture, farming, or horticulture —understanding crop operations, such as field prep, planting, fertilization, and weed control.
• Class 8 truck and trailer experience must have or be able to obtain a Class A CDL.
• Strong communication and tech skills , with the ability to learn and use software and digital systems.
• A collaborative mindset and a strong work ethic, paired with a genuine passion for what we do.
