Job Description

Job Summary:

We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Estimator to prepare cost estimates for projects by gathering and analyzing information. The Estimator will work closely with project managers, vendors, and clients to ensure accurate and competitive pricing.

Key Responsibilities:

• 
  Review project plans, specifications, and requirements
• 
  Gather and analyze data to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates
• 
  Communicate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain pricing
• 
  Prepare and submit estimates for bids and proposals
• 
  Collaborate with project managers and clients to discuss scope and pricing
• 
  Monitor ongoing projects and update cost estimates as needed

Requirements:

• 
  Associate Degree, Bachelor Degree, or 4+ years in related field
• 
  Previous experience in estimating, construction, or a related field preferred
• 
  Strong math and analytical skills
• 
  Good communication and organizational abilities
• 
  Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and estimating software is a plus
• 
  Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines

Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco/Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual's skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs. With that said, as required by local law in geographies that require salary range disclosure, Vaco/Highspring notes the salary range for the role is noted in this job posting. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, and can participate in medical, dental, and vision benefits as well as the company's 401(k) retirement plan.
