Job Description

BryceTech is seeking a Deputy Chief Growth Officer to join our Business Development Team. This position reports to the Chief Growth Officer (CGO) and plays a key leadership role in driving strategic growth initiatives and expanding BryceTech’s Federal Civilian (Fed Civ) GovCon footprint. The Deputy CGO will work collaboratively across the organization—including with Directors, Program Managers, Business Development and Capture staff, and the broader executive team—to identify, qualify, and capture new business opportunities aligned with BryceTech’s strategic growth objectives. This role requires an in-depth understanding of the GovCon market, including Federal Civilian agencies such as NASA, HHS, DHS, DoT, DoE, VA, EPA, GSA, and others. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Strategic Capture Leadership – Developing and executing capture strategies for high-value, full and open, and small business set-aside opportunities.
  • Pipeline Development & Management – Managing a dynamic multi-year pipeline, ensuring opportunities progress through the lifecycle from identification to award.
  • Customer & Market Engagement – Building and maintaining relationships with key government decision-makers, program managers, and contracting officials.
  • Teaming & Partnering Strategy – Establishing and managing relationships with prime contractors, subcontractors, and strategic partners to enhance competitiveness.
  • Proposal Execution & Competitive Positioning – Leading and supporting proposal development efforts, price-to-win strategies, solution differentiation, and Black Hat reviews to maximize award success.
  • Corporate Growth Strategy – Supporting the Chief Growth Officer in setting overall business development priorities, developing go-to-market strategies, and ensuring alignment with corporate objectives.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Proven track record of winning complex government contracts in the Federal Civilian space, with experience in full lifecycle business development, capture, and proposal execution.
  • Deep knowledge of the GovCon market, including Federal procurement trends, contracting vehicles (e.g., IDIQs, GWACs, BPAs, and agency-specific MACs), and acquisition strategies.
  • Strong customer relationships across multiple Federal Civilian agencies (e.g., HHS, DHS, DoT, DoE, VA, EPA, GSA, etc.).
  • Ability to develop and execute comprehensive capture strategies, including teaming, pricing, competitive analysis, and solution differentiation.
  • Experience with various contract types (FFP, T&M, Cost Plus) and different capture scenarios (incumbent capture, major re-competes, sole-source strategies, etc.).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage senior executives, program managers, contracting officials, and industry partners.
  • Strong leadership and collaboration skills, with the ability to manage cross-functional teams and drive results in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Ability to travel as needed for business development, capture, and proposal activities.

Preferred:

  • Experience in executive-level business development roles, such as Capture Director, Growth Executive, or Business Development Lead, with a focus on Federal Civilian markets.
  • Existing network of relationships across relevant agencies and industry partners.
  • Master’s degree in Business, Public Administration, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).

Clearance Requirements:

  • U.S. Citizen
  • Secret clearance not required, but a plus.
