Project Manager for Graphic Design Agency

Award-winning design agency is looking for a Project / Client Manager to join our team.
Ceci New York is a luxury graphic design firm specializing in invitations, graphic design, licensing of our artwork and brand design.
The candidate must be an energetic and motivated individual with the ability to work calmly in a fast-paced team environment. Must be detail-oriented and highly organized with excellent multi-tasking skills and experienced in project and client management. A positive attitude and excellent communication both written and in person. The ideal candidate must have experience in project management and knowledge of print production. Experience catering to high-end luxury clients is preferred. A background and love for fashion, design and creativity is a huge plus.
Candidate is responsible for managing design and production project calendars and deadlines across clients, internal design team and external vendors.
Candidate will be proficient at presenting ideas and proposals in a confident, positive and encouraging way and have appropriate math skills to estimate new projects.
Position Description
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients and team members.
• Proactively manage numerous ongoing client projects, delivering on time and at the highest quality level.
• Clearly manage client expectations through constant communication and anticipation of needs.
• Oversee design and production calendar from concept through completion.
• Outline all projects tasks and deliverables, tight management of design team and client.
• Act as a link and/or facilitate between the parties and have the ability to deal with problems that may arise within the project team or issues with the clients.
• Monitor the status of each project and also make required changes and improvements, if necessary, to achieve the desired results.
• Prepare and present project reports on a regular basis to the Creative Director, and, if necessary, relevant team member and clients.
• Conduct weekly team meetings to evaluate projects.
• Provide timely feedback and direction to internal teams
• Develop and maintain project specs, schedules and estimates, and plan internal resources.
• Manage vendor relationships and activities to produce project deliverables by generating requests for printing estimates; obtain specs/templates, pre-press management, press-check coordination, and mailing/distribution.
• Collaborate with team leaders to ensure client expectations are managed with regard to scope, progress, schedule and budget.
• Responsible for a percentage of company revenue goal via existing and new business
• Apply our systems and enforce project standards, minimize risk to a project
• Other duties as required
Desired Skills and Experience
• Bachelors Degree in related
• 3+ years relevant experience in creative fields
• Mac proficient and possess excellent skills in MS Office
• Experienced at scheduling, resource management, and budgeting
• Knowledge of various printing processes and papers is a plus
• Skillfully handle multiple projects simultaneously
• Excellent writing and proofing skills
• Ability to represent brand in professional appearance and demeanor
• Sharp eye for detail and excellent creative problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment
