Job Title: Master's Level Dance/Movement Therapist

Job Description:

Dance Therapy Space is seeking a passionate and skilled Licensed or Pre-Licensed Dance/Movement Therapist with a strong interest in pediatric, adult, and family mental health to join our growing private practice!

As a solo practitioner expanding my team, I’m seeking someone who is creative, compassionate, and experienced in integrating movement and somatic therapy techniques to support clients of all ages. Responsibilities:

• Facilitate individual and group dance/movement therapy sessions.
• Provide a safe and nurturing environment for clients to explore emotions through movement.
• Collaborate with clients to set treatment goals and track progress.
• Engage with families, caregivers, and other professionals as needed.
• Maintain appropriate documentation and adhere to ethical guidelines.
• Stay informed on best practices in dance/movement therapy and mental health.

Qualifications:

• Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
• Registered Dance/Movement Therapist (R-DMT) or Board-Certified Dance/Movement Therapist (BC-DMT).
• Experience working with children, adolescents, or adults in a clinical or therapeutic setting.
• Strong understanding of somatic psychology, trauma-informed care, and mind-body integration.
• Open to identifying and developing a specialty population that aligns with the practice.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating within a growing practice.
