Our client, a local financial cooperative that provides a range of financial services tailored to union members and their families, is seeking a versatile and dynamic Director of Stewardship to join their team. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a passion for business development, marketing, and promotions. Location: Maple Grove, MN | hybrid

Salary: $70,000 - $80,000 annually depending on experience + benefits

What you will do:

• Serve as the primary liaison to union locals, providing strategic support and development to strengthen partnerships
• Identify and nurture new business opportunities with unions, ensuring alignment with the credit union's goals
• Act as a “concierge” to the unions, offering tailored services and solutions to meet their unique needs
• Develop and implement marketing and promotional initiatives to engage union members with the credit union’s products and services
• Create and execute campaigns to raise awareness of the credit union’s offerings, with a focus on union members
• Support and assist in branding and promotional efforts for the credit union as a whole
• Ensure effective communication and seamless execution of projects involving union locals and the credit union

What you will bring to the role:

• Proven experience in business development, marketing, or promotions, ideally in a unionized environment or with a strong understanding of union operations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels
• A “Jack or Jill of all trades” mindset, comfortable managing multiple tasks and adapting to changing needs
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Experience with marketing campaigns, promotional strategies, and public relations
• High level of customer service orientation and professional demeanor
