JOB DESCRIPTION

• Experience: Test technician or Systems technician for processor systems or HW Validation technician.
• Electrical or electronic technician with some SW expertise in Python or similar
• Familiar with board ass’y and rework process
• Experience with common test equipment (Oscilloscopes, Electronic loads, Digital multimeters, Logic Analyzers, Power supplies, etc.)
• Capability to navigate a schematic, correlate with a PCB layout, and locate components on a circuits board
• Perform initial root cause of issues encountered during general use of development test systems, and during HW validation and enumeration cycling (hardware & software)
• Must be able to multi-task and work in a fast paced and fluid environment
• Self-motivated, self-directed, and driven. Some degree of judgement required in resolving nonstandard problems.
• Good communication skills and able to work within a diverse team
• Ability to assemble/rework standard computer systems from raw components, experience with Windows OS, experience updating/configure system BIOS, and experience programming firmware via common industry tools (dediprog etc)

Education

• BS degree preferred, min AS degree.
