Job Description

Major Duties/Responsibilities :

• Promotes Technology for UMC-USA to North America customers in pre-sale effort. 
• Serves as liaison between customers’ engineering teams and internal UMC teams. 
• Provides technology support, consultation and solutions to customers, sales organization and design community.
• Provides technical assistance to manufacturing and customer engineering.

Education/Experience/Skills Requirements :

• MS/PhD degree required, EE is a plus
• Minimum 5 years of experience in semiconductor technology development, process integration & device expertise is a must
• Project management experience a must, with attention to detail and the ability to prioritize and work well in an environment with competing demands
• Strong organizational, communication & presentation skills
• Highly analytical and strong problem solving capabilities
• Experienced in customer relationship management
• Ideal candidate would possess high energy, be highly motivated and self-directed
• Fluent in English, flexible in business travels
