Our New Teammate

Our new teammate will be a senior-level engineer with a depth of experience supporting and engineering solutions within the Microsoft ecosystem. This person should be comfortable with writing PowerShell scripts and utilizing other Microsoft Automation solutions to design customizations beyond the native capabilities of the platform. Our new teammate will have Expert-level knowledge of Identity and Access management systems, MDM, Workstation management, Entra ID, Exchange Online, and all related technologies. Experience with technology Migration projects, specifically within the Microsoft platform, is also essential to the success of this role.

You can expect to spend your time accomplishing the following:

• 65% of the time on Objective 1: Microsoft 365 Migrations
• 35% of the time on Objective 2: Microsoft 365 Configuration, Architecture, and Support

Job Responsibilities – What to Expect

• Gather requirements for managing and configuring the Microsoft environment to modernize legacy Active Directory architecture and take advantage of current Microsoft technologies, specifically Entra Join, Microsoft Endpoint management, and Modern authentication.
• Assist with the project planning and documentation
• Architecture and Design for Microsoft Entra Connect
• Advanced troubleshooting for Entra Connect synchronization errors
• Modern Authentication implementation via Azure App Registrations
• Identity and access configuration and management
• Data Loss Prevention configuration
• Microsoft Purview
• Microsoft 365 platform Security optimization and reporting
• Exchange Online Engineering and Support
• Capture project deliverables including Architectural Overview documents, technical drawings and diagrams, and Standard Operating Procedures related to the deployed technologies

Your Knowledge & Expertise

• Bachelor’s Degree Preferred
• 10 Years of IT Experience, 5 Years in Microsoft 365
• Preferred Certifications: Microsoft Certified: Identity and Access Administrator Associate or Microsoft 365 Certified: Administrator Expert
• Senior level proficiency in Microsoft 365
• Senior level proficiency in platform security
• Senior level proficiency in identity and access management
• Experience in complex user data and workstation migrations
• Experience with Active Directory, Azure AD Connect / Entra ID Connect, and MS Endpoint Management / Intune
• Experience with Quest Migration tools is a plus
• Experience with PowerShell or other scripting languages
