Senior Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable Specialist

Location: Scottsdale, AZ (on-site)

Salary: 65,000 - 75,000 (doe)

  • We are looking for a Senior AP/AR Specialist with high volume billing, cash applications and collections experience to join a fast-paced and growing accounting department. Highly qualified individuals for this role will utilize their background in B2B collections, billing, and AR for upward mobility within the company. This position will be cross trained in account payable.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for full-cylce AP payment processing and AR Invoicing
  • Daily cash postings including payments made by credit card, lockbox, ACH and wires
  • Ensures transactions are processed timely and accurately
  • Processes small balance write off, discount, tax write off, and credit memos applications
  • Maintain records and maintain an up-to-date billing system
  • Responds to inquiries from customers, researches and resolves concerns or discrepancies
  • Light B2B collections
  • Reconciliations
  • Prepare bank deposits
  • Special projects as needed

Job Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience processing AP invoices, AR B2B Collections,Billing and Payment posting.
  • Experience with customer service and client communication
  • Strong Excel skills a must!
  • Desire to cross train in accounts payable
