Florida Engineering is an engineering firm that provides innovative solutions for various industries, such as outdoor and aluminum engineering, structural engineering, MEP engineering, site plans and drainage plans, septic system design, milestone inspections and reserve studies, energy calculations, and wind engineering. We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Sales Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role will involve partnering with our sales managers to act as a project manager, answer customer inquiries, gather additional required project information, review plans, and become a technical expert and partner to the sales team.

Responsibilities:

• Project Management : Coordinate with sales managers to oversee project timelines, deliverables, and client communications.
• Customer Inquiries : Respond to customer inquiries promptly and accurately, providing technical support and information as needed.
• Information Gathering : Collect and analyze additional project information to ensure all customer requirements are met.
• Plan Review : Review engineering plans and specifications to ensure accuracy and compliance with customer needs and industry standards.
• Technical Expertise : Develop a deep understanding of our engineering products and services to provide expert advice and solutions to customers.
• Collaboration : Work closely with the sales team to provide technical insights and support during the sales process.
• Relationship Building : Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, ensuring their satisfaction and loyalty.
• Reporting : Maintain detailed records of customer interactions, project progress, and technical issues using CRM software and other tools.
• Continuous Learning : Stay updated on the latest engineering products, services, and industry developments to provide the best possible support to customers and the sales team.

Qualifications:

• Education : Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or a related field.
• Experience : 2+ years of experience in a technical sales or engineering role, preferably in the engineering or construction industry.

Skills :

• Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Ability to build rapport and trust with customers and stakeholders.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, CRM software, and other project management tools.
