Henderson Harbor Group is a premier executive search and consulting firm with deep experience in technology, finance, accounting and tax. The search division recruits highly skilled professionals for Contract and Permanent positions. We service our clients primarily in the NYC Metro area as well as nationally through our AAFA and NPA networks.

Our firm has an exciting opportunity for an intern at our Parsippany, NJ location. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in various aspects of recruitment, from candidate sourcing, communication and marketing, and sales and business development, as well as gain networking opportunities with industry professionals. We are looking for enthusiastic and motivated individuals who are eager to learn, contribute, and make a meaningful impact during their summer internship.

This is a hybrid role, 3-4 days in Parsippany office, 20-40 hours per week. This role is available from May to August and can be extended.

Compensation: Hourly, commensurate with experience

Responsibilities:

• Communication with candidates and clients, ensuring a positive and professional experience throughout the recruitment process
• Market research targeting industry trends, competitor practices, and emerging talent to enhance the firm's understanding of the market
• Sales and business development support
• Candidate outreach including assisting in identification and communication with potential candidates through various channels, including social media, job boards, and university career services
• Screening support including assisting with resume screening and evaluating candidate qualifications
• Administrative support to the recruitment team, including data entry, job ad preparation and editing, document preparation, and file organization

Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled in a college or university program, pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, Human Resources, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Energetic, proactive, and eager to learn about recruitment processes
• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and LinkedIn
