Project Superintendent – Commercial Roofing Commercial Roofing Project Superintendent Phoenix, AZ $75,000 - $90,000 – based on experience Our client, a leading commercial roofing contractor, is seeking a Project Superintendent with significant experience in commercial roofing, particularly in spray foam applications, to join their team. Specializing in high-quality roofing solutions for a wide range of commercial properties, they take pride in delivering exceptional service and innovative solutions, with expertise in traditional roofing systems and spray foam applications.
Position Overview: As a Project Superintendent, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of commercial roofing project execution, from pre-construction planning to project closeout. You will work closely with project managers, crews, subcontractors, and clients to ensure successful and timely project delivery. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial roofing, with a focus on spray foam applications, and be highly skilled at managing teams, schedules, and resources.
Key Responsibilities: - Supervise and manage all field operations for commercial roofing projects, including spray foam applications.
- Oversee day-to-day site activities, ensuring that the project is executed according to the schedule, budget, and quality standards.
- Lead, coordinate, and manage roofing crews and subcontractors, ensuring work is completed efficiently and safely.
- Monitor the progress of the project and address any issues that arise on-site, keeping the project on track and minimizing delays.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and OSHA regulations, maintaining a safe and organized job site.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular project updates and addressing any questions or concerns.
- Coordinate the delivery of materials, ensuring they are properly stored and used according to the project’s needs.
- Conduct regular site inspections to verify that all work meets quality standards and complies with building codes and project specifications.
- Maintain thorough documentation of project activities, including daily reports, progress photos, and any issues or changes that occur on-site.
- Collaborate with the Project Manager to develop and adjust project schedules and timelines as needed.
- Ensure effective communication between all parties involved in the project, including clients, vendors, subcontractors, and internal teams.
Qualifications: - 5+ years of experience in commercial roofing, with expertise in spray foam applications.
- Proven experience as a Project Superintendent or similar role in the commercial construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of roofing systems, spray foam technology, and best practices in the roofing industry.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills to effectively coordinate with all project stakeholders.
- In-depth understanding of safety standards, OSHA regulations, and construction site best practices.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications.
- Proficiency in construction management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Valid and clean driving record.
- Pass State Police background check.
