Job Overview

We seek an experienced Project Manager – BAS Solutions, to lead the successful execution of building automation and controls projects in the commercial mechanical construction industry. This role focuses on integrating Building Automation Systems (BAS) and Direct Digital Controls (DDC) for large-scale HVAC and energy management systems. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Tridium Niagara, Distech, ALC, and Johnson Controls Metasys and strong project management skills to oversee system design, implementation, and commissioning.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the entire project lifecycle for BAS/DDC projects, ensuring successful execution within scope, budget, and timeline.
• Coordinate with engineers, field technicians, and subcontractors to ensure seamless integration of BAS/DDC with HVAC, plumbing, and energy management systems.
• Oversee system design, submittals, and documentation using AutoCAD, Revit, and Bluebeam, ensuring compliance with project specifications.
• Lead commissioning and testing activities, including programming, troubleshooting, and optimizing BAS/DDC systems such as BACnet, Tridium Niagara, and Schneider Electric platforms.
• Act as the primary liaison between clients, vendors, and internal teams, providing technical expertise and ensuring smooth project execution.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in the commercial mechanical construction or BAS/DDC industry.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Controls Engineering (or equivalent industry experience). BAS/DDC technical certifications are a plus.
• Proficiency in BAS/DDC platforms, including Tridium Niagara, Distech, Johnson Controls Metasys, Alerton, and ALC, with experience in BACnet and Modbus protocols.
• Strong knowledge of project management tools, including MS Project, AutoCAD, Revit, and Bluebeam.
• A local and stable work history in the commercial mechanical construction or BAS/DDC sector is required.
