Your Job

We are seeking a talented and motivated Product Development Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have experience in automotive engineering and a passion for innovation. This role involves designing, developing, and improving products to meet customers' needs and enhance the company's market position.

What you Will do in Your Role

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define product requirements and specifications.
  • Conduct research and analysis to identify market trends and customer needs.
  • Utilize CAD software to view and analyze detailed product designs and engineering drawings
  • Understand simulations and stress tests to evaluate product durability.
  • Implement improvements based on testing results and feedback.
  • Manage project timelines and ensure milestones are met.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders throughout the development process.· Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in product development or similar role; other levels of experience may be considered
  • Demonstrated proficiency in CAD software such as NX, CATIA, Visualization, or similar.
  • Knowledge of industry standards and regulatory requirements

What Will Put You Ahead

  • Experience with prototype development and testing
  • Master's degree in Engineering or a related field
  • Experience with Exterior Decorative Automotive Body Parts
  • Experience with Nissan development processes/systems
  • Familiarity with product lifecycle management (PLM) tools.
