Job Description

Position Overview

We are currently seeking an experienced, highly skilled and dedicated, Epilepsy-trained Pediatric Neurosurgeon with a passion for patient care to join our exceptional team comprised of 2 pediatric neurosurgeons, 2 physician assistants, and 6 fellowship-trained pediatric epileptologists. Familiarity with open procedures for grids and strips, resections and disconnections, depth electrodes for stereoelectroencephalography, responsive neurostimulation, and deep brain stimulation required.

Key Responsibilities

Perform complex surgical procedures and provide comprehensive care to young patients and their families.
Participate in preoperative patient evaluations and postoperative care
Lead the development of a multidisciplinary pediatric epilepsy program within the Divisions of Neurosurgery and Neurology.
Collaborate with our multidisciplinary team to improve patient care processes
Share in the Neurosurgery call schedule on an equal basis.

Qualifications

Board certified or board eligible in Neurosurgery
Fellowship trained in Pediatric Neurosurgery
Medical Degree (MD or DO) from an accredited medical school
Valid medical license & DEA
A minimum of 3 years post-fellowship experience and additional training and/or experience in Epilepsy preferred
