The Four Seasons Chamber orchestra seeks a part time operations manager to assist with all aspects of the full-year performance calendar of our growing community/professional ensemble, including a focus on communications, personnel, library, and website management as well as assisting the artistic operations of the orchestra. The operations manager serves as the public face of the organization and the key hub of community relationships within the organization.
Outstanding interpersonal, communications, and organization skills, familiarity with Google Workspace apps and basic website maintenance, and knowledge of the orchestra and sheet music are all required for the position. Knowledge of arts-related database maintenance, fundraising, marketing and/or orchestral composition and arranging are preferred and would be compensated accordingly. Extensive knowledge of classical music and experience working with musicians are strongly preferred, or a genuine passion for learning the subject.
The starting position is 8 hours weekly, with room to expand for the right person with an interest in assisting in growing the role to take on additional artistic projects. The position is paid hourly, with salary depending upon experience, starting at $20 per hour for those with relevant professional experience. The operations manager reports to the 4SCO music director and collaborates closely with the volunteer board.
