About the Role

The Head of Infrastructure & Cloud Operations will lead a team of 60+ IT professionals, including 5–10 direct reports, across networking, private cloud, data center, and infrastructure platforms. This leadership role is responsible for everything “below the waterline” — the foundational IT stack that powers global operations, supports AI-driven initiatives, and ensures security, scalability, and high performance across environments.

The role is based in Dallas, TX with relocation support, and offers visibility, autonomy, and the ability to make lasting impact across global operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the strategy, roadmap, and execution of a global IT transformation — modernizing from a legacy three-tier architecture to a next-gen cloud infrastructure.
• Oversee private cloud and on-prem data center operations that support high-volume data environments from global manufacturing sites.
• Drive adoption of modern networking protocols and enterprise network infrastructure (LAN/WLAN) at scale.
• Partner across all IT functions to ensure secure, reliable, and scalable infrastructure that meets international data security and compliance standards.
• Build and scale global infrastructure that supports AI initiatives, software deployments, and business innovation.
• Lead networking operations and manage infrastructure as a secure, high-performance service aligned to business priorities.
• Influence investment decisions and modernization programs while mentoring a high-performing IT infrastructure team.

What You'll Need to Succeed

• Proven experience leading enterprise-wide IT infrastructure and cloud transformation in a large, global organization.
• Strong technical knowledge in networking (LAN/WLAN, enterprise protocols), private/hybrid cloud, and legacy-to-modern architecture transitions .
• Experience with network security , global compliance, and data infrastructure at scale.
• Hands-on leadership style with the ability to define roadmaps, drive execution, and partner across cross-functional IT teams.
• Exposure to manufacturing environments or high-volume, data-intensive operations is beneficial.
• Experience working with or within international organizations — ensuring infrastructure supports secure global data flows.
• A background in AI/ML-enabling infrastructure , infrastructure-as-code, and cutting-edge data center technology is a plus.
