Job Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and creative Marketing Project Coordinator to join our dynamic team. This role is crucial for ensuring the seamless execution of marketing projects from conception to completion, facilitating collaboration across departments, and driving our marketing efforts to new heights.
Key Responsibilities:
● Project Coordination and Management: Serve as the linchpin for marketing projects, coordinating between Marketing, Branding, and Product Teams and cross-departmental collaboration to ensure successful project execution. Manage the entire lifecycle of marketing projects, from initiating creative requests to final delivery.
● Creative Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams to create mood boards, mockups, and visual narratives, translating marketing objectives into compelling creative projects.
● Comprehensive Creative Briefs : Craft detailed creative briefs for content creation, ensuring clarity and alignment with project goals. Enter and manage these briefs within the project management system, facilitating smooth workflow and communication.
● Marketing Communications Materials : Coordinate the production of marketing communications materials, setting priorities, assigning deadlines, and tracking the progress of marketing jobs with both internal production staff and external contractors.
● Integrated Marketing Calendar Management: Oversee and maintain an integrated branding & marketing calendar, ensuring all brand activities are scheduled, tracked, and aligned with overarching objectives.
● Copywriting and Content Creation Support: Work closely with Copywriter for various marketing materials and campaigns. Collaborate with creative and marketing teams to ensure content meets brand standards and project goals.
● Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough proofreading of all creative content before deployment, ensuring accuracy and consistency across marketing materials.
● Social Media Expertise: Demonstrate expertise in supporting the creation and management of social media content across key platforms, including Meta (Facebook and Instagram) and TikTok. Skilled in managing content requests, content trafficking, and collaborating on platform-specific content creation to optimize engagement and align with branding & marketing goals.
● Design and Aesthetic Insight: Exhibit a strong understanding of design principles and apparel aesthetics, capable of guiding visual content creation.
● Stakeholder Engagement: Maintain continuous communication with stakeholders throughout the creative process, ensuring timely updates and approvals to meet project deadlines.
● Additional Project Support: Offer support to the brand & marketing team on various projects as needed, displaying flexibility and a commitment to team goals.
Required Experience and Skills:
● Minimum 3 years of experience in marketing project management, with a thorough understanding of the 5 phases of marketing project management (Initiating, Planning, Executing, Monitoring/Controlling, and Closing).
● Exceptional organizational and project management skills, with a proven ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines.
● Strong writing and verbal communication skills, with experience in copywriting and content creation.
● Creative thinking with a solid understanding of design principles, aesthetic trends, and visual communication.
● Proficiency in creative project management tools, social media platforms, and other marketing tools and software.
● Ability to work under pressure, adapt to changing priorities and maintain high work quality.
● Collaborative team player with a proactive approach, ready to take initiative and lead projects to success.
Industry Experience Advantage:
Prior experience in the apparel industry, particularly with e-commerce, is highly beneficial for this role. Additionally, backgrounds in the outdoor lifestyle sector or hospitality, especially those connected to outdoor activities and experiences, will be considered a plus. Such experience brings valuable insights into consumer needs and trends in outdoor lifestyles, enhancing our marketing strategies and project executions.
