Job Description:

• We are seeking a skilled Manual Machinist with experience operating lathe and milling machines to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for machining precision parts using manual equipment, interpreting blueprints, and ensuring high-quality production standards.

Responsibilities:

• Operate manual lathes and milling machines to fabricate or modify metal and plastic parts.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications to determine machining operations.
• Set up and adjust tooling, speeds, feeds, and cutting depths for optimal machining performance.
• Perform drilling, tapping, threading, boring, and turning as required.
• Measure and inspect finished components using calipers, micrometres, dial indicators, and other precision tools to ensure accuracy.

Experience:

• Experience operating manual lathes and milling machines.
• Technical Skills: Strong understanding of machining processes, materials, and tooling selection.
• Blueprint Reading: Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
• Precision Measurement: Proficiency in using micrometers, calipers, gauges, and other inspection tools.

Education:

• Technical Degree or equivalent practical experience.
