Job Description

Are you a Lead Barista with at least 3 years of experience managing a busy cafe and the people in it?

Were you responsible for the bottom line?

What about scheduling, and training of new staff?

Do you LOVE music, and know a lot about it?

We need you!

We are looking to fill a management position in our Bainbridge Island location, which features a full coffee bar with top notch equipment, and a splendid collection of new and used records, CDs and other tourist items.

This person in this position oversees daily operations, manages staff, ensures customer satisfaction, controls inventory, and drives sales to achieve financial goals, while also maintaining a positive and engaging store environment. 

We are a friendly store, not music snobs, but we know our stuff. We treat every employee and customer like friends and family.

  • Store Operations:
  • Oversee daily operations, including opening and closing procedures, ensuring a clean and organized store environment, and maintaining a positive customer experience. 
  • Inventory Management:
  • Manage inventory levels, order new stock, and ensure proper storage and organization of records, CDs, and other merchandise. 
  • Sales and Customer Service:
  • Motivate sales team to meet targets, provide exceptional customer service, and resolve any issues or complaints. 
  • Financial Management:
  • Track sales, manage budgets, and ensure profitability, reconcile consignment accounts, and handle cash flow. 
  • Staff Management:
  • Recruit, hire, train, and supervise staff, manage schedules, and provide performance feedback. 
  • Security and Safety:
  • Implement security measures to prevent theft and ensure a safe environment for staff and customers. 
  • Marketing and Promotion:
  • Develop and implement marketing strategies to attract customers and promote new releases and special events. 
  • Communication:
  • Maintain open communication with staff, customers, and vendors. 
  • Record Keeping:
  • Maintain accurate records of sales, inventory, and other relevant information. 

Available year round, weekdays and weekends.
