Job Description

Actively seeking a Practice Development Manager for a HYBRID and Full-Time Position . The position will work directly with the Private Funds practice, under the larger umbrella of Asset Management, but prior Practice Group experience is not required. What we do need is an experience Practice Development Manager who has previously worked in legal, or someone in Legal Business Development looking to make the transition into a more project management role. We would also consider an Attorney with Asset management practice experience who is looking to make a career transition as well.

HOURS: Monday – Friday, 9:30 AM – 5:30 PM EST

SCHEDULE | LOCATION: HYBRID | Boston, MA

PAY: $145 - $215K (Commensurate w/Overall Experience) + Bonus

IDEAL CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s Degree REQUIRED; MBA or JD is a PLUS
• 8+ years of Applicable Experience REQUIRED
• Prior Law Firm Experience REQUIRED
• Practice Development Management, BD, or Attorney with Asset Management Practice experience is REQUIRED

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

• Collaborate with practice and specialty group leadership, partners and other key stakeholders
• Support PG leadership with the daily operations, including preparing for, designing, and running substantive initiatives and meetings that maintain focus on PG priorities.
• Identify opportunities for improvement, innovation, and efficiency in business operations,
• Focus on PG talent/needs by working with PGLs, SGLs, partners and Attorney Talent
• Collaborate with stakeholders to focus on innovation through product development and thought leadership campaigns.
• Work with the Business Development, Public Relations and Events teams to raise attorney profiles by: identifying speaking opportunities, conferences, sponsorships, and writing opportunities to further implement knowledge marketing efforts.
• Collaborate with Finance colleagues to analyze PG financial performance and manage PG budgets.
