Location: Livonia, MI – Hybrid/Field Work

Contract Duration: Until 06/30/2025 (with high possibility of extension)

Position Overview:

The Senior Industrial Engineer (Sr. IE) plays a critical role in advancing Operational Excellence across the organization. This position requires extensive expertise in industrial engineering principles and practices, with the responsibility of leading initiatives to improve processes, reduce waste, and enhance efficiencies, resulting in tangible benefits. The Sr. IE utilizes advanced techniques to modify and extend existing theories, practices, and methods to resolve challenges related to safety, compliance, quality, delivery, and morale.

Key responsibilities include:

• Observe operations and conduct time and motion studies to identify opportunities for process improvement.
• Perform root cause analysis to identify and address inefficiencies.
• Lead the implementation of new processes, technologies, policies, and standard work procedures to enhance quality, safety, compliance, and cost efficiency.
• Utilize industrial engineering best practices to achieve operational goals and deliver results that align with organizational objectives.
