Feldman Feldman & Associates (FFA) is a 15+ person boutique immigration law firm in San Diego handling all aspects of family and business-based immigration. With an ethical and client centric approach to immigration law, our firm has grown based on referrals from happy clients who appreciate our quality and responsive service.

We are seeking an immigration paralegal, for an in-person role at our San Diego office. The ideal candidate will have 6+ months of immigration experience, but will train the appropriate candidate, if needed.

Compensation: The minimum starting salary for this position is $50,000, with additional compensation offered based on experience and expertise.

Responsibilities:

The paralegal will work with attorneys helping the dreams of foreign nationals come true!

Primary responsibilities:

• Responsible for working with attorneys in the preparation, filing, and monitoring of various immigration and nationality law matters.
• Understand the procedures and documentation required for cases to be filed successfully
• Work with clients to gather the necessary information and documentation in a timely manner
• Prepare forms according to information received from clients
• Prepare letters and other documents on behalf of the client
• Data entry into in-house database as per instructions
• Finalize documents after review by Attorney
• Demonstrate ability to manage a high caseload and work within strict timelines
• Monitor the status of all filed applications and petitions
• Run reports to assist in managing one’s own caseload
• Keep abreast of current regulations and procedures relating to filing applications
