Your Schedule:

Monday - Friday: 1:30pm - 10:00pm, with flexibility to work one day out of the week (T/W/THURS)

What You’ll Do:

Employee Relations

  • Be the champion of our company policies, ensuring they are understood and followed by all.
  • Dive into employee relations investigations, providing support and guidance.
  • Collaborate with HR Directors and Corporate HR to address and resolve employee concerns effectively.
  • Conduct comprehensive internal HR audits to ensure compliance and best practices.
  • Organize and maintain employee files, including I-9 documentation, to keep our records accurate and up-to-date.
  • Prepare insightful HR monthly reports that drive decision-making.

Compensation, Benefits, and Recognition

  • Lead the performance review and merit process for our hourly employees, celebrating their achievements.
  • Support the rollout of exciting changes to our distribution center pay structure.
  • Work hand-in-hand with Operations and Payroll to swiftly resolve pay discrepancies and time clock issues.
  • Oversee engaging monthly recognition and reward programs that highlight our employees’ hard work.
  • Coordinate employee benefits processes, ensuring smooth enrollments, terminations, and changes.

Employee Engagement

  • Foster a culture of open communication, encouraging collaboration and understanding among all employees.
  • Coordinate our Employee Opinion Survey program and performance improvement initiatives, giving every employee a voice.
  • Maintain a highly visible and approachable presence, ensuring all employees feel valued and heard.

Safety

  • Monitor compliance with essential HR regulations (OSHA, Federal postings, etc.) and maintain the OSHA log diligently.
  • Prepare and submit thorough safety and accident reports to the Regional HR Director and Director of Risk and Safety.
  • Oversee the ID badge process, promoting security and ensuring that every employee proudly wears their badge.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Proficiency in both English and Spanish is a non-negotiable , enabling you to effectively connect with and support our diverse workforce.
  • A bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field is preferred; HR certification is a plus.
  • 2 to 4 years of progressive HR experience, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, timekeeping, and/or safety.
  • Flexibility to work several hours during night/early morning shifts at least once per week.
  • Strong communication skills that resonate across various methods and employee levels.
  • A knack for prioritizing competing responsibilities and programs effectively.
  • A commitment to confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish? That’s a plus!
