lead our regulatory strategy across markets worldwide.

Job Overview:

As the Global Regulatory Affairs Director, you will be responsible for overseeing the

development, implementation, and management of regulatory strategies to ensure our biocide

products are in full compliance with applicable global regulatory frameworks. You will

collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to navigate the complex landscape of biocide

shaping the company's regulatory affairs strategy and advancing the global reach of our product

portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Regulatory Strategy Development: Lead the creation of global regulatory strategies for

new and existing biocide products, ensuring timely approvals and compliance with local

  • Regulatory Compliance: Oversee regulatory submissions, ensuring compliance with

national and international biocide regulations, including EU BPR (Biocidal Products

Regulation), EPA (Environmental Protection Agency), and other regional regulations.

  • Global Market Access: Manage the regulatory aspects of market access across multiple

regions, working closely with regional regulatory affairs teams to ensure alignment and

successful market entry for biocide products.

  • Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the primary point of contact for regulatory authorities,

industry bodies, and external consultants, ensuring transparent and effective

communication.

  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with R&D, commercial, and operations

teams to integrate regulatory requirements into product development and lifecycle

management.

  • Regulatory Intelligence: Stay up-to-date with evolving regulations, guidelines, and

industry standards related to biocides. Monitor regulatory trends to anticipate changes

and advise leadership on potential impacts.

  • Resource Management: Manage and oversee a global team of regulatory consultants,

ensuring high-performance output to complete global objectives.

  • Risk Management: Identify and assess regulatory risks, implementing mitigation

strategies to minimize any potential impact on product timelines or market availability.

  • Advocacy and Representation: Represent the company at regulatory forums, industry

conferences, and in regulatory discussions to influence biocide policy and regulations on

a global scale.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Chemistry, Regulatory Affairs, or a

related field. Advanced degree (Master's or PhD) is preferred.

  • Experience: At least 10 years of experience in regulatory affairs within the biocide,

chemical, or related industries, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership role managing

global regulatory teams.

  • Regulatory Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of global biocide regulations, including US

EPA, EU BPR, and other international regulatory frameworks.

  • Management: Proven track record of successfully managing cross-functional teams and

working collaboratively with global stakeholders.

  • Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability

to effectively communicate complex regulatory issues to both technical and non-technical

stakeholders.

  • Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills and the ability to develop creative solutions to

complex regulatory challenges.

  • Project Management: Excellent project management skills, with experience handling

multiple projects simultaneously and meeting tight deadlines.

  • Languages: Proficiency in English is required; additional language skills are a plus.
