Position Overview: The Executive Director, Client Partnerships will play a pivotal role in driving client relationships and business growth within our medical communications agency. This senior leadership position requires a seasoned professional with over 12 years of experience in medical communications, strategic scientific content, and medical affairs. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing high-level client partnerships, leading cross-functional teams, and delivering exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key clients, understanding their needs and ensuring satisfaction with our services.
  • Strategic Leadership: Provide strategic direction and oversight for client accounts, ensuring alignment with client objectives and company goals.
  • Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, leveraging industry knowledge and networks to expand our client base.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of account directors and managers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
  • Project Oversight: Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of projects, ensuring they meet quality standards, timelines, and budgets.
  • Financial Management: Manage account budgets, forecasts, and financial performance, ensuring profitability and growth.
  • Market Insights: Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging scientific developments, and competitive landscape to inform strategic decisions.
  • Client Presentations: Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to clients, showcasing our capabilities and solutions.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of 12 years in medical communications, strategic scientific content, and medical affairs.
  • Education: Degree in life sciences, medicine, pharmacy, or related field required.
  • Leadership: Proven experience in leading and managing cross-functional teams.
  • Client Focus: Strong client relationship management skills with a track record of successful client partnerships.
  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to think strategically and provide innovative solutions to complex challenges.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present to senior stakeholders.
