Job Description

Event Coordinator

Location: Hybrid but mostly remote with occasional travel - Boston or NYC area only.

Length: 12 months to start (potential to extend / convert)

Pay: $40-$44/hr (W2 and option for benefits)

Responsibilities:

  • Will program manage conferences and events.
  • On-site event execution
  • Will collaborate with other program managers on the team and will support larger conference deliverables.
  • Will be tracking the event budget and submitting invoices.
  • They will handle program deliverables, including marketing communications, collateral, registration/invitation copy/promotions, event logistics, and sales communications.
  • Dedicated to measuring return on investment for all programs and helping provide analysis and reporting.
  • Vendor and resource management

Must have:

  • Expertise with events and/or marketing, ideally within the financial services industry
  • Excel Expertise
  • Experience with budgeting, invoicing, connecting with AP, and PowerPoint presentations
  • Experience interfacing and negotiating with internal and external groups at all levels and across multiple functions
  • Ability to multitask, juggle, prioritize, and balance competing goals and projects.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Bachelor’s degree with 2-5 years of event marketing and/or marketing communications experience
  • Nice to have: CVENT and SalesForce experience
