Qualifications

• A Degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical or Structural Engineering is required.
• A minimum of 3 years of estimating earth retention, deep foundation and/or geostructural engineering experience, preferably in the estimate of earth retention and deep foundation construction.
• Experience with BlueBeam, Adobe, Word and Excel software.
• Cradle to the Grave working model experience highly desired.

Responsibilities

• Project estimating and project management of civil project with all types of deep foundations, retention systems, ground improvement and dewatering scope.
• Perform site visits to evaluate site conditions.
• Request and evaluate vendor and subcontractor quotes.
• Prepare take-offs, cost estimates, bid proposals and budgets.
• Prepare project submittals including construction means and methods, design calculation (design-build), specialty equipment and required materials.
• Manage projects from bidding to closeout “cradle to grave”.
• Prepare project billings and close out project paperwork.
