especially in transit-related and large-scale infrastructure projects.

 Ensure compliance with both state and federal transportation project guidelines, including

FTA and Caltrans, for relevant projects in Washington.

Qualifications:

 10+ years of experience in environmental engineering or geology, with a minimum of a

BS degree in a related field (engineering, environmental science, or geology).

 Professional Engineer (PE) or Registered Geologist (RG) certification is preferred but not

required.

 Experience with groundwater and soil investigations, environmental site assessments

(Phase I & II), NPDES permitting, and stormwater compliance.

 Knowledge and experience with contaminated waste management, including hazardous

materials abatement, UST/FST regulations, and stormwater requirements.

 Familiarity with regulatory agencies and standards in Washington and previous

experience with transit-related projects is highly desirable.

 A strong background in geotechnical engineering, tunneling, and compliance with NEPA

regulations is a plus.

This role is ideal for an experienced professional with a strong technical and regulatory

background, capable of managing complex environmental projects and navigating compliance

with Washington’s environmental standards.
