We Distribute 12,000+ Animal Health and Related Products from 500+ Suppliers, Serving Retailers, Catalogers, and Online Resellers through the RJ Matthews Company (B2B) at rjmatthews.com , Sales Reps and Catalogs. Our PBS Animal Health Division (D2C) Sells Directly to Livestock Farmers, Ranchers, and Horse/Pet Owners via pbsanimalhealth.com , Sales Reps, Catalogs, and 5 Retail Stores in Ohio (Massillon, Circleville, Wooster, Wilmington, and St. Henry). Our Corporate Headquarters and Distribution Center are located in Massillon, OH, near Canton, Akron, and Cleveland.

Job Overview:

We seek a High-Performing, Strategic Leader with Deep Ecommerce Expertise to Grow and Lead Our Digital Team! You will lead Ecommerce Strategy, Optimize UX, Manage KPIs, and Collaborate with Teams to Enhance Site Performance. We’re looking for an Experienced, Analytical Leader Passionate about the Customer Journey and Achieving Ambitious goals. Success in this On-Site, Full-Time Role Offers Growth and Compensation Opportunities Based on Results and Performance.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Lead and Develop the Digital Team: setting strategy and ensuring seamless collaboration across departments.
  • Drive Ecommerce Growth: by leveraging customer data and analytics to shape the site roadmap, enhance features, and optimize UX/UI for engagement, conversion, AOV, and LTV.
  • Oversee Site Merchandising: creating a personalized shopping experience with strong cross-selling and up-selling strategies tailored to each target market.
  • Manage Digital Marketing Strategy: guiding internal teams and third-party agencies to maximize ROI and continuously refine strategies across all channels.
  • Establish and Oversee the Promotional Calendar: ensuring campaigns align with business goals and market opportunities.
  • Analyze Sales Data, Market Trends, and Internal Insights: to set and refine weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales forecasts.
  • Deliver Weekly and Monthly KPI Reports: providing key insights and actionable recommendations to support revenue and profitability goals.
  • Oversee External Vendor Relationships: managing contracts and ensuring seamless integration of platforms, technologies, and services.
  • Stay Ahead of Industry Trends: monitoring competitive landscapes and best-in-class ecommerce practices to implement innovative strategies that drive site performance and sales growth.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Ecommerce, Business, Computer Science or Related Degree of Study
  • Animal Health, Livestock, Horse or Animal Related Degree or Experience a PLUS!
  • 8+ Years of Proven Online Ecommerce Growth Success and Track Record
  • Experience and Success Directing, Leading and Managing Ecommerce Websites, Resources and Talent
  • D2C and B2B Ecommerce Website Experience and Knowledge
  • Experience and Success Selling Products On Ecommerce Websites
  • Excellent Communicator (Verbal and Written)
  • Proficient Using Common Analytics Tools (GA4), Heat Mapping, A/B testing Platforms, Email Service Provider Programs
