Title: Data Engineer

Location: Malvern, PA (Hybrid)

Notes:

We have an immediate need for a Data Engineer who has expertise in Python, SQL and AWS. Must be able to work a hybrid work schedule out of Malvern, PA- now to end of year, high chance of extension.

Contract Description:

• Lead Data Solutions Development: Design and implement scalable data pipelines, ETL/ELT processes, and data warehousing solutions in an AWS cloud environment.
• Ensure Best Practices in Data Architecture: Establish governance, security, and quality standards for data management and cloud-based workflows.
• Client & Stakeholder Communication: Act as a liaison between client architects, engineers, data scientists, and offshore teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Oversee Offshore Team Execution: Manage and align an India-based development team with client objectives, technical standards, and project timelines.
• Drive Agile Project Execution: Utilize Agile methodologies to manage project scope, risks, dependencies, and ensure timely and efficient delivery.

Qualifications:

• 7+ years of experience in data delivery, data engineering, or analytics leadership roles.
• Strong expertise in AWS, SQL, and Python scripting, with hands-on experience in data pipeline development and performance optimization.
• Experience in financial services, fintech, or asset/wealth management industries is preferred.
• Proficiency in Agile methodologies such as SAFe or Scrum for effective project management and execution.
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify performance bottlenecks and optimize SQL queries and AWS workflows.
