Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and driven Credit Portfolio Trader to join our esteemed trading desk at our broker-dealer firm. This role presents a unique opportunity for an individual with a passion for fixed income markets and a strong background in high yield (HY) and investment grade (IG) portfolio trading.

Responsibilities:

• Execute and manage trading strategies across high yield and investment grade credit portfolios, ensuring optimal performance and risk management
• Analyze market trends and utilize quantitative techniques to inform trading decisions and enhance portfolio outcomes
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop innovative trading strategies and optimize existing portfolio positions
• Monitor trading activities and market developments, making real-time adjustments to strategies, as necessary

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience on a Trading Desk, with a focus on High Yield, Investment Grade, or Portfolio Trading
• Solid understanding of Credit Market Dynamics and Risk Assessment
• Proficient technical expertise in Python, with the capability to develop and implement algorithms that enhance trading effectiveness
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, demonstrating the ability to thrive in a collaborative and fast-paced environment

Desired Skills:

• Experience working within a Bank, Hedge Fund, and/or Proprietary Trading firm
