Pearson Doyle Mohre & Pastis LLP is a growing Martindale "AV-Preeminent" rated law firm, with offices in Maitland (Orlando) and Ft Lauderdale. Our attorneys practice in the area of Complex Commercial Litigation, including Construction Law, Design Professional Defense, and Healthcare Litigation. Prior litigation experience required.

Requirements:

• Member of the Florida Bar in good standing
• 5+ years-experience in the area of commercial litigation (construction litigation preferred)
• Self-starter and goal-oriented with a focus on long-term career goals
• Strong communication skills
• Strong legal research and writing skills
• Ability to work cases from beginning to close, and manage resources on cases
• Experience in taking depositions and preparing witnesses for deposition
• Experience in drafting and responding to pleadings and motions, including discovery motions
• Attend hearings, depositions, mediations, meetings with clients, as well as negotiate settlements.
