Job Description

Our client is seeking a talented Communications Specialist to lead and execute end-to-end communication strategies. This role requires a strategic thinker with exceptional writing skills to craft compelling messages and determine how communication connects with our audience. The Communications Specialist will be responsible for developing and implementing integrated communication plans, ensuring consistent messaging across all channels, and enhancing the overall brand voice. The ideal candidate will have a strong ability to think strategically while creating clear, impactful content that aligns with our organizational goals.

Rate: $50 - $60 / hr. w2

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement comprehensive communication strategies.
• Write and edit content for various platforms, ensuring consistency and alignment with the overall strategy.
• Manage messaging and communication across internal and external channels.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure effective communication across departments.
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of communication strategies.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in communication strategy and writing.
• 5-10 years in corporate communications
• Strong understanding of how to craft and deliver strategic messaging.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
• Must be able to commute to Johnston, RI when needed.

Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be considered when determining pay rate. The pay range provided in this posting reflects a W2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided range.
