Key Responsibilities

• As a Paralegal - Commercial Real Estate, you will: Prepare and review commercial and residential real estate purchase and sale closing documents.
• Assist with the preparation and review of loan documents, including UCC Financing Statements.
• Coordinate commercial and residential real estate transaction closings, including maintaining closing checklists, managing signature page packages, and preparing and reviewing settlement statements.
• Order and review title and survey documents, prepare objection letters, memoranda, and escrow closing letters, and address title exceptions.
• Gather and review due diligence materials, including zoning/government compliance letters, UCC/judgment searches, and entity authority documents.
• Review and abstract UCC/judgment/lien search results and prepare related analyses.
• Obtain and evaluate zoning reports and conduct zoning analyses.
• Draft corporate documents such as consents, resolutions, and authority documents.
• Conduct lease reviews and prepare lease abstracts.
• Manage the filing and recording of documents, prepare closing binders, and address post-closing matters.

Qualifications & Experience

• The ideal Paralegal - Commercial Real Estate candidate will have:A Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience, with a minimum of 5 years as a real estate paralegal in a law firm.
• Expertise in title and survey review, including handling title exceptions and preparing related correspondence.
• Strong technical proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
• Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Superior communication and customer service skills with the ability to interact professionally with clients and team members.
• Knowledge of legal terms and concepts to ensure the accuracy of legal documents and submissions.
