Job Title: Elementary & Middle School Teacher

Job Summary:

As an Elementary and Middle School Teacher at North Dade Regional Academy, I am responsible for creating a nurturing and academically engaging learning environment that supports the growth and development of students across various grade levels. I design and implement lesson plans aligned with academic standards, promote positive behavior, and adapt instruction to meet diverse student needs—ensuring every child is supported academically, emotionally, and socially.

Key Responsibilities:

• Instruction & Curriculum Delivery
• Plan and deliver grade-level appropriate lessons across core subjects (ELA, Math, Science, Social Studies)
• Differentiate instruction to support varied learning styles and academic levels
• Integrate hands-on activities, technology, and real-world applications to enhance student engagement

• Classroom Management & Student Development
• Foster a safe, respectful, and inclusive classroom environment
• Implement positive behavior supports and classroom routines that promote student responsibility
• Monitor student progress and communicate regularly with parents and administration

• Academic Support & Assessment
• Assess student learning through formative and summative evaluations
• Provide individualized support and small-group instruction when necessary
• Use data to adjust instructional strategies and provide targeted interventions

• School Culture & Collaboration
• Participate in school-wide events, parent meetings, and professional development sessions
• Collaborate with colleagues, administrators, and support staff to promote student success
• Support extracurricular activities, student celebrations, and enrichment programs

Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field
• Valid Florida teaching certification or eligibility for certification
• Strong classroom management and instructional skills
• Passion for working with children and shaping young minds
• Ability to build meaningful relationships with students, families, and team members

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $17.00 - $21.00 per hour
